The nation holds a debt of gratitude to those who defend our liberty and freedom.  I plan to streamline the processed governing services for our Veterans and help find fiscal solutions to increase the Veteran Administration's budget.  Approximately 300,000 servicemen and women will be returning from Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom over the next several years.  Establishing the highest affordable health care, educational, and occupational services possible for those returning home will be on my agenda.  Over the next several months, I plan to work with the VA, Wounded Warriors Project, and other organizations who provide services to help injured warriors when returned to the US.

As an Air Force veteran myself, I plan to use my familiarity with VA programs to help make a difference for our servicemen.  I will be dedicated to helping solve problems of any veterans in need.  I am grateful for the service of those who have served our country.
